BKD Academy, in close collaboration with the Skills Development Fund (SDF), Cambodia Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEAC) Siem Reap, and local authorities, recently concluded a comprehensive training program for 300 informal economy workers in Siem Reap. This initiative saw 150 street food vendors trained in food safety and hygiene, and 150 tuk-tuk drivers in tourism hospitality. The certificate handover ceremony, presided over by H.E. Ngov Seng Kak, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, and Oknha Loun Ann Channe, President of YEAC Siem Reap, underscored the program's vital role in enhancing service quality, hygiene, and safety standards for both national and international tourists, ultimately contributing to the region's tourism growth and overall economic development.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia – On May 24-25, 2025, BKD Academy successfully organized a training course on "Public Relations and Personal Branding for Business Owners," attended by 19 trainees. This program was made possible with significant financial support from the Skills Development Fund (SDF). On May 2, 2025, BKD Academy and BizKhmer Media proudly took part in the launch of the IDEAS Mentoring Program and the 4th IDEAS Connect Session; the first in-person milestone of IDEAS Project Cambodia. The event brought together over 65 participants to empower women entrepreneurs through mentorship and connection.
